Known for their Cheese Fondue with Sour Dough Bread and Steak & Lobster tails.
Louis Pappas opened his first Bold Knight on Mathilda Ave., in Sunnyvale in 1964 and then opened a second restaurant on Monterey Road in San Jose in 1968. That San Jose location closed in 2007 and later reopened at North First Street.
For years, they hosted anniversary bashes, birthday parties, prom dates, awards banquets, retirement dinners, political discussions.
This location closed in 2007. Relocated to N. 1st Street and closed in 2016.
